A leading luxury private jet company, made up of 4 distinct businesses in the UK, with a current headcount of 200 (grown 350% in the past 2 years) is looking to recruit a HR Advisor to cover a period of maternity leave.
Reporting into the UK HR Manager, also on site, the role operates as a full generalist position with some key focus areas around HRIS and payroll co-ordination (starters, leavers, absence logging, change of terms, overpayments etc.) The internal customers are made up of flight brokers, cabin crew, pilots and all head office functions. As HR Advisor this is an internal customer-facing position and requires at least 4 days on site in Farnborough, with one day working from home, should you so wish. The maternity leave starts in November but they are looking for a good hand-over period on both sides hence why it is advertised as circa 14 months.
The culture is fast paced and friendly. The new office is based at Farnborough Airport, close to the Surrey Hampshire border, so you will be able to enjoy up close views, of many luxury private planes and helicopters.
The position of HR Advisor will require occasional travel to other offices in the UK (London & Hertfordshire) and their 2 small European hubs in Malta and Milan. There is a larger US parent company and the US based international HR Business Partner pops over occasionally too.
To be considered you will need proven operational HR experience, ideally level 5 CIPD, or working towards, and previous experience of working with, and understanding of, HRIS systems, payroll coordination and supporting complex ER cases.
At the moment there is a mix of benefits that include private medical health insurance for yourself and partner or kids, 6% Employer pension contribution, Life insurance; but only 20 days holiday entitlement + statutory. However, the role is well remunerated and there will be the chance to enjoy "empty leg" travel on private jets.
